Live, Work & Play
The Billiards Room
Care for a drink and some nine-ball? The billiards room at 20 East End Avenue is a stunning space inspired by classic game salons in exclusive private clubs. A custom pool table, flanked by a full bar and a card table, is offset by richly accented wood-paneled walls and a gentle glow emitting from elegant wall sconces.— The room is built for relaxation and friendly competition, allowing 20 East End Avenue residents access to a coveted, private amenity only steps from their homes.
The collection of works in 20 East End Avenue’s library features titles hand-selected by selected by the building’s legendary architect Robert A.M. Stern. The shelves are lined with rare volumes detailing a history of New York City, many of which have served as inspiration to Stern himself. The room itself features an exquisite paonazzo marble fireplace, French walnut doors, and custom brass fixtures throughout. Much like the billiards room, the library draws its inspiration from those located in exclusive clubs.
On the more active side of things, fitness enthusiasts are also well represented at 20 East End Avenue. With its array of free weights, spinning bikes, treadmills, and additional cardio and strength-training equipment, the in-building fitness center rivals most high-end clubs in the city. A boxing and yoga studio, as well as a private massage room round out the offering. With a gym of this caliber right at home, you can forget about gym memberships altogether.
The Wine Cellar
With an intimate space for dining among friends as well as private armoires for personal wine storage, 20 East End Avenue’s wine cellar offers a unique amenity for both seasoned wine collectors and those acquiring their first cases. With a Bordeaux-style path connecting the dining room to the cellar itself, residents are treated to a uniquely intimate interior. Wine armoires are climate-controlled for ideal storage conditions so collectors can be assured that each vintage matures in the precise way it should.
